![]() OPENING QUESTION: Please go to my website and book mark that site. That's a must! (Notice the handy dandy QR CODE:
Please feel free to go ahead and zap that if you need to, but be sure and tuck your phones away in our handy-dandy phone caddie afterwards) If you're curious about your Most Gracious (& Humble!) Astronomy instructor please open your chromies and navigate to/take a gander at my bio page Then please take a few moments to review my site generally. OBJECTIVES:
WORK O' THE DAY: Let's start with info from the school/district HERE Please take a few moments to introduce yourself to your team and share a favorite tidbit (or two!) from you summer! I'll click the SPINNER and have one person from each group stand up and introduce your team and a little something about them! Our Bell Schedule for the First Two Weeks is HERE (you can also see a printed copy in your desk folders): HERE is a list of teachers and their lunch schedules (Subject to revision in the first few weeks) ═════════════════════════ Now please take a few moments (well more than a few, but that's a GOOD thing!) to go to our class slide deck (Now where might that be?) and tell me a bit more about yourself. Notice there is a sample slide that I made of, well, myself! Please make sure to include each of those topic areas in your slide but you have WIDE LATITUDE to choose colors, fonts and such, just make sure it fits on ONE slide. If you like you can copy and paste my slide and then edit it to make it work for you. The only weird part are the boxes around each topic area. They kind of get in the way so you'll have to slide them out of the way to edit the text inside! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WORK together on this. If you're not sure how to add or edit some part of your slide, please ask your group (I'm afraid I'm not able to help everyone but if there is something that stumps your entire group I'll be happy to come and work through it with you!) Now let's see what questions commons/concerns you might have about first day, first week, first month or anything else? ═════════════════════════ LET'S TALK ABOUT T E L E S C O P E S Please come on up and take a gander -- I have four of them!!!! Feel free to touch *carefully* -- especially my main scope has some pretty pricey parts! I'm very interested in developing a parallel learning program that involves observing. I haven't finalized the details so I'm hoping you can help me with those. Let's talk! And MOST ESPECIALLY let's talk about our GHHS OBSERVING PROGRAM |
